Climate & Best Time
The city of Hyderabad remains fairly warm throughout the year. March to
June is the summer time with temperature touching a high of 42 degrees
centigrade. Winters extend from November till February. Minimum temperature
during this period records 12 degrees centigrade. The ideal time for you to
visit here is between October and February.
Places to Visit
Hyderabad is a rich amalgamation of the old and the new. You will find
monuments, palaces, museums, parks, temples and lakes to visit. Some famous

» Charminar
The iconic structure of the city, Charminar commemorates the Qutub Shahi
era. The imposing edifice was erected by Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah in 1591
AD. It epitomises the brilliance of the Indo-Islamic architecture.
» Golconda Fort

One
of the biggest draws for visitors to Hyderabad is the ancient Golconda Fort.
The fort occupies a position on the western outskirts of the Hyderbad city.
» Falaknuma Palace
Positioned on a 20-feet-high hillock, the palace was built by
Vikar-ul-Ulmara, the prime minister of Hyderabad. It has a fascinating
collection of paintings, statues and manuscripts belonging to Nizams.
» Hussain Sagar Lake
A huge man-made lake, it serves to associate Hyderabad with its twin city
Secunderabad. A life size statue of Lord Buddha can be seen in the middle of
the lake. Boats ply regularly to reach the statue.

linked with major destinations of India through a good rail network.
National Highway no 7 and 9 provide good road connectivity to the city.
